4 day weekend

So i am totally for four 10hr work days in order to have a three day weekend. When i get four days it seriously feels like a mini vacation to me. Especially when its as fun as the last one was.

I got out of work early last wednesday and was so excited for the holiday weekend that i broke out my old christmas tree. I figured waiting till the day before thanksgiving was long enough.

Not even one hour after decorating it June somehow knocks it off the table. I dont know how she managed to even get to it but somehow got to the center of a 5' X 5' square table. I can only assume she was chasing a shadow one of the Christmas lights were making. I was so pissed. She broke one of the super cute cupcake ornaments Geoff's mom just got me! Luckily, the shark was spared.

We got to hangout with Chris and Es while they were out visiting.
Watched Geoff play 3 games at the corona turkey bowl in the extreme cold and windy conditions. Being around Jolene and Es made it worth it.

We had the Ron's sit at the heads of the table. Geoff looks like such a prep in this photo. He doesnt even drink wine either.

Geoff has always been a slim dude so to see this is shocking. people joked with him and said, "wait till you get married..." but we both didnt believe it would actually happen to him. its a fact now. and i love it!

Here's Pat hemming geoffs pants in my moms front lawn. He was in Kirk + Carrie's wedding and the 3-day suit guy made his pants too long and apparently too tight around the waist.

Theres no chance you'll ever see me black friday and i didnt even get pictures of the insane people who spent that cold cold thanksgiving night outside waiting for stores to open at 3am. Its for the birds.

Heres a highlight video geoff and i made for Jason (gayson) and April's wedding day. And can i just say how much i love april and gayson?! A LOT! im bummed that april had to move from being a few miles from the Chateau Brouillette to Long Beach, but hey, i dont blame her one bit haha. Their new nest is so cool and filled with love and cool Owl art pieces. and kittens that hide in the bathroom and great you while you pee. Like i said, so cool.

before we walked out Holly asked me about who i thought was going to cry. i said probably both our moms and dads would, but i definitely did not think geoff would. i mean its GEOFF. and we had been hanging out 2 hours before taking pictures.
i was so wrong...

as soon as i was walking down the isle i noticed he was wiping away tears. geoff had officially lost it. so naturally, i did too. it was a big beautiful happy tear fest.

best wedding ive ever been to, if i do say so myself. the day could not have gone any smoother. everything was right on time and perfect! a day filled with God, love, and laughing.
thanks to everyone who came and spent the day with us. meant a lot to have you there. and to the ones who couldnt make it we were thinking of you too!

Lately

craziness.
ive managed to just about plan our entire wedding in one month. so many thank you and gratitude to Amanda. she is so amazing in general but she has helped me out so so so SOOOO much with planning this. Ladies, if youre planning a wedding talk to Amanda. She and her entire staff (including me now!) are so sweet and creative. Love them!
sent out all the invites yesterday. we arent having a huge wedding so if you didnt get one, im really sorry. we really did want everyone to be able to come but we just cant.

its been an insane past couple of weeks and now that i live a good 30mins away it makes it harder to hang out all the time.

Ryan & Joanna got married last friday! It was such a beautiful ceremony and we all had so much fun at the wedding. No pictures from me but you can see a few of them on Mike's Blog. They look so good and i cant wait to see the rest!
